We are always on the look out for self-employed people with a strong background in history, archaeology or related disciplines. We are currently keen to hear from articulate and well read self-employed individuals in the following locations:


Munich: For general city tours as well as 3rd Reich. We are also keen to hear from persons who are qualified to work in the Dachau Memorial. We are also seeking a suitably qualified driver(s) to join our pool for occasional work. A vehicle is not a prerequisite but the legal permissions are.

Nuremberg: For the Reichsparteitagsgelände and associated 3rd Reich/WW2 sites.

Cologne: We are ideally seeking a time-served archaeologist with experience of working within the city to explain to guests the intricacies of Roman and Medieval life, as evidenced by the remains visible today. A knowledge the Allied bombing campaign as well as the battle for the city in 1945 is desirable.

Berlin: You will have extensive knowledge of both the political and military history of the city in the 20th century – and will know of lesser seen, off-the-beaten-track sites of interest.

United Kingdom

London: We are seeking time-served all rounders as well as heritage professionals with more in-depth knowledge for specialist tours such as WW2 history and Roman – Medieval history and archaeology.

Edinburgh: You know the ins and oots of the Wynds in the Old Town like the back of your hand? You can talk comfortably about royal history, particularly The Bruce and Mary, Queen of Scots? You can pick fact from fiction when it comes to Charlie, Culloden and the ’45? You obviously know where they filmed “Outlander”, right? And naturally, you have an informed opinion about Haggis and are passionate about whisky?

Cardiff: An ancient town, it is the UK´s newest capital. Your skillset will reflect an appreciation of where Cardiff was, and where it is going. We are looking for a good all rounder with a solid knowledge of local history and culture. Perhaps you are a Welsh speaker? Or maybe you know where the best pint of Brains is to be found?

UK-wide: are you an archaeologist or historian with a specialisation or intimate knowledge of a particular site, era or theme which may be of interest to visitors? Do you live near Stonehenge or Avebury? Does your house overlook one of Edward Longshanks’ castles? Does your local pub sit astride Hadrian’s Wall?
