Unsure which tour to take? Limited time? You are part of a group with varied interests? This tour is for you! It combines the most interesting elements of our City, 3rd Reich, WW2 and Munich Macabre tours. Of course it would not be Oktoberfest without some beer history and tasting as well….
On this easy walking tour around central Munich you will see key sites like the famous Frauenkirche and Marienplatz, learn about life in Medieval times, sample some delicious local beers and uncover fascinating facts about Munich during the dark days of WW2: a broad canvas with something for everyone.
As with all our tours, this is illustrated with period artefacts: you will get to hold history in your hand!

We never watch the clock on our tours – we would rather give you a tour which went on your pace and covered the facts in detail than one which was rushed. We find though that this tour runs to around 3 hours – a bit longer if we decide on the day to take a break or two along the way: the tour is not written in stone….
As this is our busiest season, running multiple tours a day, this requires a c.9 – 9.30 start for morning tours, 2.30 – 3pm for afternoons. Tour runs on select days only – please see the calendar for details.
Tour starts in Marienplatz, near Mary´s Column. Look for for our signs. Tour can end here or in a local hostelry if you like – just tell us!
